Overview
Parke Community Rail Trail is a 9-mile rural greenway situated in southern Parke County, IN and connects Rosedale to Rockville. The trail follows the abandoned Vandalia Railroad line transversing a series of waterways and agricultural landscapes. Land Stewards Design Group served as the lead consultant for the Trail Standards and Guidelines and supported the larger design team during construction and implementation. LSDG worked closely with local stakeholders and agencies to help educate, implement and ensure safe and accessible amenities and features for all users.
